Central Elementary School, Taber

Central Elementary School is an Early Learning to Grade 5 school. Our 25 staff provide service to approximately 240 students from the Town of Taber and surrounding area.

1.0 FTE Probationary Teacher

Assignment includes - Grade 4/5 a combined grade level classroom

Central School is seeking a grade 4/5 teacher for a combined grade level classroom commencing the 2025-2026 school year. Central School is a collaborative space where staff work with one another within a holistic, student-first approach.

Central School will have three grade 4/5 classes for the 2025-2026 year, allowing for much collaboration. Teacher education and experience specific to English Language Arts and/or Numeracy would be considered an asset. Training, experience or professional development in other areas could include, but is not limited to: working with English as Additional language learners, literacy interventions and new curriculum implementation. An understanding of inclusion and the ability to implement and support diverse, complex learners would be seen as a strength.

This position commences August 18th, 2025, and concludes June 30th, 2026.
