Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist position is available for a full-time contract through the end of the school year, serving a K-12 caseload. This role is based in Chicago, IL, and offers opportunities for both full-time and part-time candidates.
Responsibilities include:
• Providing psychological assessments and evaluations for students ranging from early childhood to 12th grade
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student academic and emotional development
• Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) based on comprehensive assessments
• Offering counseling and intervention strategies tailored to students needs across all grade levels
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting support plans accordingly
Qualifications:
• Experience working with diverse student populations across various grade levels, including early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school
• Strong understanding of K-12 educational environments and psychological best practices
• Licensed or credentialed as a school psychologist according to state guidelines
• Ability to manage a full K-12 caseload effectively
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
