Nurse Practitioner
At Covenant Health, our Nurse Practitioners play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care.
About the Role
This Full-time position is for a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Crossville Medical Group team. The successful candidate will work 80 hours per pay period, on day shifts.
Responsibilities
Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, and safety standards.
Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, consult with other specialists as required, and adjust processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
Collaborate with physician preceptor to formulate and review medical protocols.
Obtain complete medical history of the patient.
Identify health hazards in the patient's environment as well as patient risk factors.
Consider cultural patterns, economic status, and patient resources in plan of care.
Perform appropriate physical exam as indicated.
Obtain appropriate laboratory specimens.
Analyze objective and subjective data for appropriate diagnosis and treatment.
Assure treatment and/or plan of care is consistent with established protocols.
Requirements
Certification by American Nurses Association, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, or National Certification Corporation (NCC) as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
State's requirements as a Nurse Practitioner.
CPR certification.
