Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Computer Science, engineering, or related discipline.
Professional experience delivering software solutions that span the development life cycle; i.e., project initiation, design, development, testing, deployment, support, and retirement.
5 years of experience in mobile app development
Experience working with and implementing Bluetooth based solutions
A fleshed-out portfolio of software development projects
Strong Kotlin/Java programming skills and experience using Android frameworks
Experience implementing solutions using more advanced platform features including the use TensorFLo Lite, Augmented reality solutions and voice-based solutions
Experience developing and/or supporting Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) solutions.
Experience in creating Android libraries/frameworks via AAR/Modules.
Expertise with Object Oriented Programming, multi-threading, data serialization and REST APIs
Familiarity with MVVM and other architectural patterns
Knowledge of Data Structure skills.
Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
Understanding of Androids design principles and interface guidelines
Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
Can write, perform, or automate unit tests
Knack for benchmarking and optimization
