Location - Remote - Vancouver (BC) (Preferred)
Job Description:
Technical skills:
Methodologies: Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall
Languages: Java, SQL, HTML, CSS, Gherkin
Testing Tools: Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Postman, RESTful API, JMeter, Cypress, Appium
Frameworks: Cucumber, TestNG, Page Object Model (POM), Behavior Driven Development (BDD) or Data Driven Development (DDD)
Test Management: Jira, Jira XRAY/Zephyr/TestRail(any test management tool experience is must)
Databases: Basic SQL knowledge
Deployment: Anything within Git
CI Tool: Jenkins
Responsibilities:
Proficient in Test Automation using Selenium WebDriver, Java, Maven, Cucumber and TestNG.
Performing Functional Testing and Regression Testing.
Identifying Test Cases for Automation.
Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD with using tools such as Jenkins and Gitlab.
Experience in RESTful API and used HTTP requests to GET, PUT, POST and DELETE data.
Dynamically performed Agile Scrum methodology and worked as a cross-functional team member.
Cooperated closely with developers, teammates, team lead and client, for project related discussions.
Quick-learner, ability to multi-task and meet firm deadlines.
Solid communication, interpersonal skills, established team player with a systematic mindset for problem-solving.
Involvement in Creating of the Test Cases, Test Scenarios and Test Data.
Involvement in Test Execution, Result Analyzing and Defect Reporting.
Working with agile methodology
Responsible for test deliverables, prioritizes and monitors activities to meet such Dates for assigned features. Test cases creation, Track and report bugs
Coordinated with the development team frequently for release process and bug fixes.
Must Haves:
Manual testing - 4/5
API testing - 3.5/5
UI automation (Selenium/Java) - 4.5/5
