Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, A law firm in Coral Gables, FL is seeking a dedicated and skilled 1st Party Property Damage Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing property damage claims, excellent negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role involves working closely with clients, maintaining communication with insurance companies, and representing clients in various legal proceedings.Duties:Provide clients with regular updates on the status of their property damage cases.Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims, demands, and offers to ensure efficient case progression.Represent clients in hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations.Evaluate property damage claims to determine their validity and potential for resolution.Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and other parties to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.Collaborate with team members to address case-related issues and advance client interests.Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving and effective case management.Requirements:2+ years of litigation experience, with a preference for experience in 1st Party Property Damage cases.Member of the Florida Bar in good standing.Strong understanding of property damage claims and litigation processes.Superb negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful settlements.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proactive problem-solving abilities and effective case management.Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership with the Florida Bar Association.Skills:Expertise in managing property damage cases and negotiating settlements.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Proactive problem-solving abilities and case management skills.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Benefits Offered:Competitive wage.Paid Time Off (PTO), including holidays, bereavement, and sick leave.401K Retirement Savings Plan with firm match.Group Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans.Employer-covered supplemental benefits.Voluntary supplemental benefits.Annual performance reviews.
