Job Title- BI Engineer
Location- Pune
Role Description
An Engineer is responsible for designing, developing and delivering significant components of engineering solutions to accomplish business goals efficiently and reliably. Key responsibilities of this role include active participation in the design of their solution components, investigating re-use, ensuring that solutions are fit for purpose, reliable, maintainable, and can be integrated successfully into the overall solution and environment with clear, robust and well tested deployments.
Engineers actively look for opportunities to improve the availability and performance of components by applying the learning from monitoring and observation, automating towards zero touch, and championing a 'DevOps' mind-set.

Your key responsibilities
• Configure and Administer Tableau, SAP Business Objects and Looker
• Upgrade/Patching of Tableau, Business Objects tools - Desktop and Server software
• Good hands on knowledge on GCP based services.
• Detailing out best practices and tool selection criteria for BI tools
• Change management including software, hardware upgrades and patches
• Cost management via effective utilization of server cores/user licenses
• Automation of daily tasks.
• Work with agile coaches/leads to deliver in scaled scrum approach
• Actively contribute and deliver on features, stories, tasks
• Design and collaborate on Capacity and Governance models for the platform.
• Work with the wider community of engineers to increase standards & discipline
Your skills and experience
Must Have:
• Strong experience and commitment to deliver in Agile process
• Excellent knowledge in troubleshooting and problem solving
• 5+ years of experience in administrating various Business Intelligence tools including Tableau, Business Objects
• Programming language like Java/Python etc
• Demonstrable experience on Cloud services and tools.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with team culture.
• Expertise in monitoring server activity/usage statistics to identify possible performance issues/enhancements
• Experience in Performance tuning / Server management of Business Objects and Tableau server environment (Clustering, Load balancing)
Nice to Have
• Knowledge on spectrum of BI tools and offerings
• Looker knowledge
• Cloud certifications
• SAC exposure
