Job Description
Assignment:
Part-time 0.28 FTE probationary teaching position
Monday to Friday, approximately 2 hours per day in the afternoon
Instructing in Construction grades 7-12
Duties to commence August 27, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2026 school year
Qualifications:
Experience teaching in Junior/Senior High classrooms would be considered an asset
Construction experience would be considered an asset
Passion for education and a commitment to student success
Assessment literate
Able to provide direction and create individual student programs in collaboration with an EA
Strong technology and 21st-century learning skills with an early education perspective
Effective classroom management that facilitates safe, caring, and inclusive spaces for all students
Knowledge of Power Teacher and SeeSaw would be considered an asset
Strong planning and organizational skills
Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment and be a positive team member
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to use varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs and abilities
Commitment to ongoing professional growth
