2D DESIGN SPECIALIST

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented 2D Design Specialist to join our creative team, with a strong focus on curating OOH & BTL brand showcase and experiences. The candidate should be passionate about crafting compelling visual stories across physical spaces, ensuring every piece of communication is on-brand, impactful, and production-ready.

You will be a key contributor in ideating and executing designs primarily on OOH with secondary focus on Experiential advertising—playing a crucial role in bringing brand experiences to life visually and spatially.

KEY REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE

1. Brand Understanding & Communication Design

• Translate brand strategy into visually engaging designs that work across large-scale static and semi-permanent formats (billboards, hoardings, kiosks, transit).

• Understand different brand tonality and adapt design language to suit varying OOH media and beyond media formats

• Decode marketing briefs into compelling visual narratives that grab attention and drive recall in high-footfall, high-traffic areas, and regional sensibilities.

2. Design Execution & Technical Expertise

• Create 2D artwork for billboards, banners, pole kiosks, facade wraps, shop signage, transit media, and retail branding.

• Work on event backdrops, standees, venue branding, and POS collaterals as per campaign objectives.

• Deliver print-ready files for large-format and outdoor printing, with a strong grasp of layout, typography, resolution, bleed specs, and color profiles (CMYK, Pantone, etc.).

• Design for scale with precision — from micro formats to macro environments — ensuring clarity and visual balance.

3. Collaboration & Production Readiness

• Collaborate closely with the planning, servicing and production teams to ensure that design output is aligned with expected quality, timelines, budgets, and media plans.

• Interpret and implement site measurements, mock-ups, elevations, and real-world placements into design decisions.

• Participate in vendor interactions, prototyping, and on-ground production checks when needed, ensuring design intent is executed as envisioned.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

• Prior experience in designing for OOH is essential.

• A strong visual eye and ability to work across formats — print, large format, spatial layouts.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; CorelDRAW is a bonus).

• Deep understanding of visual hierarchy, layout balance, color theory, and brand consistency.

• A keen interest in trends, formats, materials, and innovations in the OOH realm

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years in designing OOH campaigns (Ideally Mix of Vanilla and Innovations across OOH Media)

• A portfolio demonstrating diverse, impactful 2D design work across OOH and Experiential / Retail advertising.

EDUCATION

• A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.
