We are a busy retail store located in the Brisbane CBD at the base of the 1 William St Queensland Government Building. We sell a range of fresh grab & go food options (sandwiches, hot food, cakes, pastries, snacks) as well as a small range of grocery and convenience items. With the star casino and apartments opening up, we have large growth planned over the next few years.
Role Responsibilities
As Assistant Manager, you will be assisting the store manager with:
Overseeing daily store operations
Staff management
Maintaining FIFO and stock rotation standards
Placing orders with over 50+ suppliers
Building relations with stakeholders (suppliers, sales representatives, staff, customers)
Analysing sales data to ensure shelves are stocked and waste is limited
Analysing pricing data to maintain profit margins
Handling customer inquiries
About you
Aged 18+
Previous retail experience is a must.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer experience skills
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to quickly adapt to new technology and software
Must be familiar with back office point of sale work
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1,000.00 – $2,165.50 per week
