Job Description
We currently have a full time position available for a proficient 2nd 3rd or 4th year Apprentice Motor Mechanic.
The successful applicant must possess:
Excellent knowledge and interest in the motor mechanic field
A professional and friendly manner
Ability to work both independently, and as part of our team
Good communication skills
Ability to show initiative
Willingness to learn new skills
Reliability, punctuality and a good work ethic
Attention to detail and pride in their workmanship
You will be required to learn/know how to:
Maintain and repair cars and light trucks
Diagnose and resolve issues with clutches, suspension, bearings, brakes, engines
Remove and refit brake shoes, drums, brake pads
Perform general mechanical duties relating to the diagnosis, removal and replacement of parts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.87 – $24.74 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
