About the Job
The Digital and Social Director is a Sydney-based, permanent role that offers family-friendly and flexible work arrangements.
The Opportunity
This senior leadership position oversees the digital ecosystem's activities and processes, including social media and marketing campaigns. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing digital marketing strategies, analyzing data traffic and user metrics, ensuring consistency in a brand's digital tone and presence, developing and executing digital marketing campaigns, monitoring and interpreting analytic data, and optimizing software functionality.
Additionally, you will maintain and grow both new and existing client relationships by working closely with a team to reliably execute, implement, and communicate customer expectations. This involves following a set call plan to ensure timely communication and reporting on campaigns, conducting industry research, and providing information to clients as required.
Key Responsibilities
Developing social media strategies and tactical plans for Icon clients and the agency.
Developing integrated social and digital programs for Icon clients.
Leading and overseeing the strategy and plan for digital marketing and social media across the Agency.
Advising on digital advertising and media planning.
Optimizing social media content and plans.
Setting up and optimizing Icon's social media analytics and reporting.
Assisting with new business; leading new business pitches and proposals in respect of social media and influence marketing.
Liaising with internal and external teams to promote brand consistency.
Educating and building capability in the ICON team regarding social and digital platforms and channels.
Staying abreast of the latest consumer and marketing trends and advancements in technology.
Requirements
A minimum of 6 years' experience in digital and social media with an agency or consultancy.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Exceptional communication skills and ability to navigate complex relationships across large, premium clients.
Strong business fundamentals across presentation, collaboration, interpersonal, time management, problem-solving, networking, and work quality/attention to detail.
Ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of the categories in client portfolios and provide best-in-class recommendations.
