Job Title: Azure Data Engineer
At PwC, our people in data and analytics engineering focus on leveraging advanced technologies and techniques to design and develop robust data solutions for clients.
They play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth.
In data engineering at PwC, you will focus on designing and building data infrastructure and systems to enable efficient data processing and analysis.
Developing and implementing data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions.
Responsible for data management activities related to the migration of on-prem sources to cloud system using Microsoft Azure PaaS Services and Azure Cloud Technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading development of Data and Analytics products from Requirement Gathering State to Driving User Adoption.
Hands-on experience of developing, deploying, and running cloud solutions on Azure services like Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Lake Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Synapse.
Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries and working with databases.
Desirable Skills:
Experience in Azure cloud infrastructure for data services.
Microsoft Azure Data engineer certified candidates are preferred.
Exposure to Azure Synapse will be good.
