Position Summary
At 3CLogic, technical writers transform complex information into clear, concise, and accurate content without relying on jargon. As a Technical Writer in our Product Management division, you will be the primary content developer for the 3CLogic Cloud Contact Center Application-updating, enhancing, and maintaining all documentation. Based in Noida, India, you will report to the Director of Product Management and focus on improving client satisfaction by producing guides, online help, and tutorials that enable effective configuration, management, and monitoring of our cloud contact center solution.
Working alongside Engineering, Support, Professional Services, and Product teams under Agile Scrum, you will create high-quality documentation such as product manuals, FAQs, API/partner documentation, installation guides, cheat sheets, marketing collateral, and custom materials for sales and marketing. This role requires a fast learner with strong multitasking skills to keep pace with our evolving product and priorities.
Role Responsibilities
• Write and Manage Product Documentation - Guides, To Dos, Checklists, Release notes, architecture/technical documents and diagrams.
• Work closely with engineering and product management to plan, create, and maintain user-focused technical documentation for multiple product features or applications, in alignment with an established content strategy
• Provide input to help shape future content strategy for the product or business unit you help to support
• Contribute to the continued evolution of 3CLogic's content development processes, DITA-based information model, and writing style and standards.
• Develop a strong understanding of the 3CLogic's product ecosystem and expert knowledge of the specific product area and user base you support
• Enhance professional appearance, readability and overall quality of the product documentation by editing them for grammar, consistency, style and format.
• Create and Manage document schedules, and content management (updates, versioning, and accessibility).
• Define the process for updating relevant groups when an updated content is available.
• Work with off-shore teams (in USA) as needed to get the documents proof read and verified. Some working hours that overlap with the USA EST time zone will be Understanding of content development life cycles and processes
• A strong understanding of SaaS, and ideally the CCaaS, CX and/or CRM domain
• 6+ years work experience in technical communication.
• Samples of your prior technical writing work or other writing that demonstrates your ability to communicate complex ideas and technical information clearly
• Experience independently planning, creating, and delivering documentation in a fast-paced, globally distributed software development environment
• Ability and eagerness to demonstrate leadership by mentoring other writers, adapting quickly to changing priorities, and helping diverse cross-functional teams collaborate effectively to deliver exceptional results
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience writing for engineers and technical project managers.
• Experience authoring in the Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) or another XML-based structured authoring architecture.
