Responsibilities:
• Is responsible for designing and delivering extraordinary 3d environments suitable for next generation of interactive experiences
• As the Senior 3D Artist, you will be responsible for developing world-class visual solutions for Architectural and Environmental 3D assets needed for our interactive experiences.
• Produce autonomously the modelling and texturing of 3D objects in accordance with the artistic direction and production deadlines.
• Deliver work in accordance with the project’s artistic direction.
• Apply optimisation to their work.
• Efficiently apply graphic principles in her/his work.
• Use and look for artistic references - in video games or in other artistic domains - to improve the visual aspect of the game.
• Suggest images in line with the project’s artistic direction.
• Understand and implement the desired game play intentions in the game levels they are in charge of.
• flexible and able to adapt to different artistic styles
• Collaborate closely with the game design and level art team to push your levels forward with the available tools, and share your progress and knowledge among team members.
Qualifications:
• At Least 3 years of experience as 3D Artist
• Experience in Autodesk 3D Studio Max / Blender / Sketch up (modelling and texturing tools).
• Expertise in Maya, Substance Painter / Designer and ZBrush is a big plus
• Should have experience in developing models and objects optimized for games
• Ability to understand technical constraints and to integrate them when modelling.
• Portfolio of work that demonstrates your talent for creating worlds that are visually
• exceptional, along with your understanding of different lighting solutions, material properties, and spatial flow.
• Very good knowledge of modelling techniques.
• Very good knowledge of texture mapping and material.
• Ability to use the texture space efficiently and to take into consideration the pixel ratio.
• Experience creating high-quality biomes and landscapes, along with possessing an excellent sense of presentational spaces.
• Good sense of form, shape, silhouette in regards to objects.
• Ability to manage their own time and work within deadlines.
• Ability and desire to work in creative and collaborative teams.
• Passion for games and strong game culture.
• Proficiency with tools used for feedback, tracking, and integration. Photoshop, JIRA, and Perforce experience is preferred
