Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasound technician to join our team. You will be responsible for performing 3D/4D ultrasounds on clients to produce high-quality images and videos of their baby for entertainment purposes only. This is a part-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Perform ultrasound examinations using specialized equipment and techniques
- Prepare clients for ultrasound by explaining the process and answering any questions
- Position clients correctly to obtain the best images
- Apply gel to the clients skin to ensure proper contact between the transducer and the body
- Adjust equipment settings to optimize image quality
- Analyze images and provide gender reveal if requested.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation of ultrasoundS performed
Requirements:
- Valid certification as a Sonographer is preferred but willing to train the right individual.
- Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy
- Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
