We are looking for a senior lawyer with a focus on education law to join our team. As a key member of the legal department, you will be responsible for drafting and negotiating agreements, advising on intellectual property laws, and interpreting contracts.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience in the education sector and be open to relocation to Mumbai. You will work closely with the business team to provide expert legal advice and guidance.
Responsibilities
• Drafting and negotiating various agreements, including domestic and international contracts.
• Advising on intellectual property laws, with a focus on copyright and patent laws.
• Interpreting contracts and providing expert guidance to the business team on contractual responsibilities.
• Preparing templates for standard agreements and keeping track of changing laws in the education space.
• Mentoring and coaching junior team members.
