50 Bistro is a local favourite, offering a fine dining experience showcasing the best of Canterbury's fresh, local produce, wine and service.
We are currently recruiting a highly motivated individual to fill the full-time position of Host, covering our busy breakfast and lunch service periods.
You will be responsible for greeting and welcoming guests, ensuring exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall ambience of our renowned restaurant.
It is essential that you possess the following attributes:
Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for the food and beverage industry
Knowledge of local and international wines
A minimum 2 years previous experience in a similar establishment at a supervisory level
Licence Controller Qualification (LCQ) and General Manager's Certificate
Able to provide exceptional leadership to the team, with strong communication and interpersonal abilities, at all times ensuring the focus is on delivering and exceeding expectations in guest service
Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively
A positive, professional and team-oriented attitude
Applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand. You must be either a New Zealand Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a current and open work visa with at least 12 months until expiry
