What is the role?
The 5G Core Architect will drive the architecture, design and development for 5G core functions. The ideal candidate has more than 5 years of relevant experience in 5G/4G packet core R&D, system engineering, architecture AND hands on coding of 5G packet core systems.
This position will work closely with System Engineering and operations team. The successful candidate will work in our Bangalore, India offices.
What you will do
Act as system engineering expert in 5G Core (3GPP R16/R17 and beyond)
Own the overall core network architecture, design features and call flows suitable for E-Space’s NTN implementation
Define engineering requirements and lead design discussions
Integrate the Core Network.
Come up with detailed Capacity, Scalability and performance analysis of the system
Why you are the right candidate
You have 10-15 years of progressive experience out of which at least 5 years as 5GC system architect
You have demonstrated 5G core expertise through work, patents and references
You have personal experience installing, configuring and modifying core networks.
You have experience working with core solution providers or ISVs as a system architect or technical leader
You have demonstrated knowledge of modern development methodologies, platforms, languages and tools
You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electronics or equivalent experience
You will be able to demonstrate the configuration and activation of an open source core network to show your expertise in core networks.
Additional experience we'd like to see
Successfully designed and developed highly scalable, reliable software solutions
Experience with Agile development, JIRA, Virtualization
Experience working with public cloud providers
Ability to write/review code
Experience working in a startup environment with geographically disperse teams
