About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Theatre Nurse to step up into the role of Clinical Coach, supporting the ongoing development of our perioperative team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate professional who thrives on sharing knowledge, mentoring others and driving best practice within a dynamic theatre environment.
In this role, you will work closely with theatre staff to enhance clinical capability, promote evidence based practice, and support continuous service improvement. You will play a key part in guiding nurses toward achieving departmental KPI's, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence and patient centre care.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
Providing clinical coaching, mentorship and education to nursing staff
Promoting and embedding best practice standards across all perioperative areas
Supporting staff development through teaching, feedback and competency assessment
Driving quality improvement initiatives aligned with service goals and KPIs
Ensuring compliance with professional standards, including ACORN guidelines
Collaborating with leadership to identify training needs and workforce development opportunities.

About you
Our ideal candidate will:
Be a Registered Nurse with extensive experience in the perioperative/theatre environment
Have demonstrated clinical expertise and a strong commitment to excellence in patient care
Have a passion for teaching, coaching and developing others
Hold a current annual practicing certificate
Have a passion for teaching, coaching and developing others
Have a strong understanding of ACORN standards
The ability to influence practice, support change and contribute to service improvement
Have strong written and verbal communication skills
