A Grade Electrician – HVAC Installation
Are you a fully licensed A Grade Electrician with experience in HVAC systems? If you’re confident in electrical installation, fault finding, and commissioning within heating and cooling, Staycool is looking for you. Join a team delivering high-quality, energy-efficient HVAC solutions across Victoria.
We’re open to both Employee and Sub-Contractor arrangements.

What You’ll Do
Electrical Installation & HVAC Systems
Carry out electrical installation, wiring, and commissioning of HVAC systems including split systems, ducted units, gas heating, and evaporative cooling. Ensure all electrical components are installed to a high standard and in line with regulations.
Fault Finding & Commissioning
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in HVAC systems on-site. Work closely with builders and supervisors to ensure systems are fully operational, compliant, and optimised for performance.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure all work meets Australian electrical standards, codes, and safety regulations. Maintain a strong focus on safe work practices and quality assurance across every installation.
Who You Are
A fully licensed A Grade Electrician (Victoria) with current electrical licence
Experience working with HVAC systems or similar electrical installations
Strong understanding of electrical compliance, wiring standards, and commissioning processes
Ability to read and interpret electrical and construction plans
Proven experience working on residential construction sites
Reliable, detail-oriented, and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
Strong communication skills when working with builders, supervisors, and clients
