Your duties as Finance Apprentice will include:
Collating all purchase invoices for approval
Ensuring all relevant invoices are approved for payment
Correctly coding all invoices in respect of nominal ledger and department
Check & reconcile supplier statements
Completing the supplier payment run
Sending remittances to suppliers and dealing with any supplier queries
Ordering goods on behalf of departments
Processing staff expenses
Posting all banking sheets into SAGE
Postings all vendor reports into SAGE
Processing client payments in the bank
Posting client payments onto SAGE
Filing of all invoices
Proactively involved in process improvement
Weekly updating of auction sheets
Ad hoc projects delegated by seniors
Skills Required:
Strong numeracy skills
Ability to analyse and interpret data
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Experience with Sage 50 and Xero (preferable)
Qualifications Required:
AAT Level 2 (preferable) or A Levels grades A*-C
GCSE's grades 4-9 including Maths and English
Training:
Advanced Diploma - AAT Level 3
