Job Description
Skills Required:
Should have hands-on development experience with various Ab Initio components such as Reformat, Rollup, Scan, join, Normalize, Partition by key, Partition by Round Robin, Gather, Merge, Interleave, Lookup, etc.
Working experience with HDFS (Hadoop Distribution File System) is must.
Hands on experience with Amazon Web Services EC2, EFS, EBS, EKS, S3 is required.
Must have experience deploying applications in containerized environment such as Kubernetes.
Experience in designing and delivering migration projects.
Knowledge on Express>It is an added advantage.
Working knowledge of source-code control using EME is required.
Good knowledge in developing UNIX scripts.
Must have the ability to relate to both business and technical members.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Analyze, design, implement and maintain high volume, multi-terabyte 24/7 data warehouse robust and fast ETL applications.
Develop logical and physical data models, advanced ETL development using Ab Initio
Be a technical player on complex ETL development projects with multiple team members
Responsible for data migration from legacy systems to latest systems.
Develop relevant functional and technical documentation.
Lead, design and develop data warehouse solutions using different architecture, design, and modeling techniques.
Work with business users to translate requirements into system flows, data flows, data mappings etc., and develop solutions to complex business problems.
Lead the creation of all design review artifacts during project design phase, facilitate design reviews, capture review feedback and schedule additional detailed design sessions, as necessary.
Interact with Release Management, Configuration Management, Quality Assurance, Architecture Support, Database Support, other Development teams and Operations as required.
