Employment type: Ongoing full-time, 35 hours per week
Grade – Clerk Grade 3/4
Salary: $84,659 pa - $92,701 pa plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
This position is open to Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people only.

Your role
As an Aboriginal Client & Community Support Officer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting Aboriginal clients and communities engaging with the court system. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact by contributing to culturally appropriate services, promoting positive community relationships, and helping improve access to justice for Aboriginal people.
What you’ll do
In this rewarding role, you’ll make a real difference by supporting Aboriginal clients and communities through culturally informed service and project delivery at Campbelltown Local Court.
Provide meaningful project support, exceptional customer service, and culturally safe assistance to Aboriginal clients.
Contribute to the design, delivery, and promotion of innovative Aboriginal-focused programs and services.
Prepare reports, manage records and data, and help coordinate impactful community engagement initiatives.

What we’re looking for
We are seeking a passionate Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander professional who is ready to make a positive impact in the community.
A proud Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person with strong cultural knowledge and community connections.
Holder of a current driver’s licence (unrestricted) and willing to travel as required.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, respectful approach.
Excellent verbal and written communication, confident engaging with diverse people.
High attention to detail with the ability to accurately manage data.
A team player who is organised, adaptable, and committed to making a meaningful difference.
As an Identified role, this position is open only to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander persons. Where a position is identified, an applicant’s race is a genuine occupational qualification under the exception in Section 14(d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.

or
Written confirmation from 2-3 Aboriginal organisations within the community in which you live/work, which addresses the three criteria listed below:
is of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent, and
identifies as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, and
is accepted as a such by the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community.
