Fixed vacancy for 6 months
Provide clinically responsive and culturally safe healthcare practice through; prevention, early detection, early intervention; and treatment of illness; within a defined scope of practice and as a member of the ******* and Other Drugs Access Team, Top End Mental Health Services.
This is an experienced practitioner role and requires the occupant to operate at an independent level; and as an emerging specialist Aboriginal Health Practitioner within the AOD Access Team in the provision of the planning and implementation of cultural care for Aboriginal clients experiencing withdrawal from AOD. This role will require the applicant to provide assistance with referrals to rehab facilities, assistance with social needs, brief intervention, cultural based education or advice to both staff and clients.
