The core responsibilities for the job include the following:
Sales and Business Development:
• Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients for event services, including corporate events, weddings, conferences, and other special occasions.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. This may include direct sales efforts, partnerships, and promotional activities.
• Lead Generation: Actively pursue new business opportunities by networking, attending industry events, and cold-calling potential clients.
• Proposal Development: Prepare detailed and customized proposals, presentations, and contracts for clients.
Client Relationship Management:
• Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their event needs, objectives, and budgets. Offer creative solutions to meet those needs.
• Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to secure bookings while ensuring profitability.
• Customer Service: Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Event Planning and Coordination:
• Collaboration: Work closely with the event planning team to ensure the client's vision is realized, coordinating logistics such as venue setup, catering, audiovisual equipment, and entertainment.
• Vendor Management: Identify, negotiate with, and manage relationships with third-party vendors and suppliers.
• Timeline Management: Develop and manage event timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met and the event is executed smoothly.
Budget Management:
• Budget Creation: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and the event remains within financial constraints.
• Cost Control: Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising the quality of the event.
Marketing and Promotion:
• Event Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and drive attendance, using various channels such as social media, email marketing, and traditional advertising.
• Brand Representation: Ensure that all events align with the company's brand image and values.
Post-Event Activities:
• Follow-up: Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback from clients, assess the success of the event, and identify areas for improvement.
• Billing: Oversee the invoicing process and ensure all payments are collected promptly.
• Report Generation: Prepare sales and event performance reports for management review.
Team Leadership and Training:
