Our client is a busy multi-disciplinary legal practice based in Manchester city centre.
We provide a professional, personalised service for private and commercial clients and we are building a reputation as one of the city’s leading law firms. With the combined areas of specialism offered by our representatives, our client is qualified to provide high-quality legal advice and guidance for consumers and corporate clients.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct of complex and challenging abuse compensation claims from instruction to completion
• Periodical file reviews and progressing each case
• Provide a high-quality service and regular updates to our clients in person or via telephone
• Drafting court proceedings where necessary
• Drafting instructions to Counsel and liaising with Counsel
• Researching and interpreting complex areas of the law and keeping up-to date with in developments in the law
• Engaging in settlement negotiations
The successful candidate must have:
• 1-4 years’ PQE gained within a similar field representing claimants
• The ability to establish priorities and manage deadlines.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• The motivation to work alone and as part of a team.
• A flexible approach to the working environment with a strong work ethic
What you will receive:
• Basic salary of up to £40,000
