Job Title: Academic Advisor/ Counselor - Education Industry/College/ University
Location: Gurugram
Job Type: Full-time
Experience: Minimum 2 years in the education industry college institution
We are seeking a Counsellor to join our team and provide guidance, support, and
information to prospective students.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development: Visit Colleges and Universities for collaboration, demo & lead generation.
Tele-counseling: Conduct outbound and inbound calls to prospective students, addressing
their queries and providing information about programs, admissions, and related matters.
Student Engagement: Build rapport and maintain positive relationships with students through
effective communication.
Admission Guidance: Provide detailed information about course offerings, admission
requirements, scholarships, and financial aid options.
Documentation: Assist students in completing application forms and other required
documents accurately and in a timely manner.
Follow-Up: Conduct regular follow-ups with students to ensure their questions are answered
and they are progressing through the admission process.
Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions with students in
our CRM system.
Reporting: Provide regular reports on your activities, conversion rates, and challenges to the
management team.
Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, admission procedures, and
institutional policies to provide accurate information to students.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Academic Advisor/ Counsellor in the education industry/ College or University
A degree in a related field is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
Empathetic and patient when dealing with students' queries and concerns.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of the education system and admission processes.
