Role Description
This a full-time on-site role for an Academic Content Writer located in Kolkata metropolitan area. The primary responsibilities of the Academic Content Writer include conducting research on various academic topics, planning and outlining writing projects, and creating high-quality content in the form of lesson plans, textbooks, and articles. The Academic Content Writer will also work with cross-functional teams to ensure that the content is accurate, up-to-date, and meets client requirements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Journalism, Education, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Academic Content Writer or similar role
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to write in a clear and concise manner
• Demonstrated knowledge of academic writing styles, guidelines, and best practices
• Ability to conduct academic research and synthesize complex information into understandable, relevant content
• Strong attention to detail and project management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other content management systems
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders
• Experience with educational publishing and curriculum development is a plus
