Job Description
Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions to assess students’ academic progress, goals, and challenges.
Assist in developing personalized academic plans and schedules.
Offer support during course registration, transfers, withdrawals, or deferments.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of institutional academic policies and program offerings.
Collaborate with faculty and departments to identify and support at-risk students.
Conduct information sessions, workshops, and orientation programs as needed.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records and counselling notes.
Handle enquiries (in-person, phone, email) from students and parents in a professional and timely manner.
Follow up with students to ensure progress and satisfaction with academic paths.
Requirements
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Education, Counselling, or a related field.
Proven experience in academic advising, student counselling, or a similar role.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Empathy, patience, and an approachable attitude.
Familiarity with educational technologies and student management systems.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
