Key Responsibilities:
Academic Guidance:Helping students choose courses, majors, and programs of study that align with their goals.
Career Counseling:Assisting students with career exploration, job search strategies, and applying for internships and fellowships.
Policy and Procedure Support:Explaining college policies and procedures, including registration, graduation requirements, and financial aid.
Student Support:Providing personal support and guidance, helping students navigate challenges and succeed academically.
Collaboration:Working with faculty, staff, and other support services to create a supportive environment for students.
Monitoring Progress:Tracking student progress and ensuring they are on track to meet graduation requirements.
Target Audience:
Undergraduate Students:Providing guidance on course selection, choosing a major, and exploring opportunities.
Graduate Students:Offering support with program planning, research opportunities, and career development.
Post-Secondary Students:Assisting with applications to other educational institutions and career planning.
Students from diverse backgrounds:Ensuring equitable access to resources and support for all students.
