The Academic Quality Office is a small, high-performing team within the portfolio of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic and lead by the Director of Academic Quality. The Office is responsible for academic quality assurance activities including programme development and approval, academic reviews, academic policy and regulations, and student surveys.
The Opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi
We're seeking a skilled and experienced academic quality assurance specialist to take on the role of Academic Reviews Lead for the Academic Quality Office.
This is a permanent full-time role and would suit someone with experience in this area looking to take on a lead role in a supportive and dynamic environment.
You will be responsible for managing, supporting and facilitating university academic reviews, working with the Academic Reviews Panel Lead, faculty teams, and the Director of Academic Quality. The role also provides opportunities for process redesign and continuous improvement.

You will have:
Significant experience in an academic quality or similar role in a tertiary education environment
Leadership experience or potential
Highly-developed written communication skills
Discretion, humour, and a can-do attitude
An eye for detail and exceptional prioritisation and organisation skills;
A commitment to serving AUT’s distinctive mission and communities.

Salary Ranges| Ngā utu: $112,000 – 125,000, commensurate with skills and experience.
