Disha, a Centre for Special Education, established in 1++5, is devoted to the cause of mentally challenged children, under Disha Foundation an initiative of BVK Group. Disha was then the first and only school in Rajasthan state for mentally challenged children.

The NGO is under patronage of Late. HH Maharani Gayathri Devi of Jaipur since inception and is rated amongst the Top 10 Institution in India for Social volunteering by ‘Conde Nast’ 2017. The NGO ‘ Disha Foundation’ is in receipt of empanelment with TATA CSR, ONGC amongst a few intuitions and is rated for Transparency by many international institutions. Padamshree Dr. Ashok Panagariya is the Chairperson of this Institution.
Disha has been accredited by ‘Credibility Alliance’ , ‘Give India & ‘CAF India. It is also registered with ‘Rehabilitation council of India ,’National institute of open schooling’ , ‘The National Trust (Govt of India)’ , ‘University of Rajasthan’.

The ideal candidate will use a strategic mindset to drive the future success of the institution run with empathy for social cause by aligning teams under one vision. With responsibility for all development areas, this candidate will execute all areas of need for the institution including management and administration in the following areas: operational, program development, community relations, people management, Fund raising, liasoning.
Branches of Functioning at the institute
Today, Disha has evolved into a leading institution with seven focused Centres for serving it’s objectives:
1. Centre for Special Education (School for 150 children)
2. Centre for Teacher’s training (Teachers are trained for Special Education in Intellectual disability and learning disability)
3. Centre for Work Training (Children are trained for self employment opportunities)
4. Centre for Home Management (Parents are trained for living with special children)
5. Centre for Physiotherapy(Special children are trained for motor skills)
6. Centre for Research & Documentation. (Research studies)
Critical Role and Responsibilities
1. Teaching the university prescribed syllabus to B. Ed (SLD)using offline/ online methods for theory and practical classes
2. Preparing for and conducting exams
3. Copy check, provide valuable feedback to answer sheet , maintain mark sheets and enter marks on portals
4. Handling end to end admission process- Providing inputs for prospectus, answering admission queries, interviewing candidates, fee deposit coordination
5. University /RCI relations and coordination work – Affiliation, permissions, exam coordination etc.
6. Conference, Webinar and CRE work – Proposing, designing and organizing. Report writing
7. Research and Development – Writing research papers, presenting papers in national /international conferences
8. Leading the academic team and providing strategic and operational guidance
+. Reporting team work and progress on daily, weekly and monthly basis
10. Coordinating with Sr. management team
11. Administrative work _ Documentation and record keeping
12. Maintaining discipline in and outside classroom
13. Data keeping
14. Time table and Duty chart creation
Qualification M.Ed. ( Special Education)- RCI(Rehabilitation council of India) certified
Experience matters
1. Age 40+
2. 10-15 Years + experience of working in the field of non profit institute management in the field of education
3. Preference for experience in education for learning disability / mentally challenged children
4. Experience in large-scale program/project development
5. Growth in career : Maximum 4 Job changes
Preferred Fitment criteria
• Ability to work with rural background children
• Well contended with Rehabilitation council of India
• Outstation candidates to shift with family to Jaipur
• Has their origin and Roots from Rajasthan,
• Has worked within a framework of Systems, policies and procedures.
• Well versed with Hindi and English
• Has worked from grass root level
