Join our dynamic team as an Acceptance Test Procedure Technician, where you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting engineering projects under general supervision. As a senior technician in Engineering Services and Support, you will perform a range of technical tasks from basic to moderately complex, contributing directly to the planning and execution of vital engineering initiatives. Your collaboration with higher-level support staff and engineers will shape the development and refinement of test procedures and interpret their results. You'll also have the opportunity to mentor, train, and guide other technical and business support employees, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

What You Will Do:
• Technical Support: Provide comprehensive support to engineers on various tasks, ensuring effective project execution under moderate supervision.
• Project Execution: Perform basic to moderately complex technical tasks that are critical to the planning and execution of engineering projects.
• Process Review: Review and optimize workflow illustrations, routing plans, floor layouts, material handling processes, and machine utilization.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate, inspect, and maintain test setups and equipment, identifying malfunctions and ensuring continuous operational reliability.
• Materials Testing: Conduct materials tests and analyses, from basic to moderately complex, to validate material properties and support project requirements.
• Collaborative Development: Work closely with higher-level support staff and engineers to review test procedures and interpret results, providing detailed insights and recommendations.
• Experiment Planning: Plan and execute experiments, gathering, maintaining, formatting, compiling, and manipulating technical data to support engineering disciplines.
• Data Analysis: Analyze, compile, and format data and design changes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
• Documentation: Produce clear and detailed drawings, reports, and engineering documentation to support project goals and compliance.
• Research and Development: Perform research and engineering laboratory functions, including the layout, construction, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of electronic or electro-mechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems.

Qualifications You Must Have:
• Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.

The salary range for this role is 36,000 USD - 72,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
