As an Account Associate, you will collaborate closely with the CSM Account Management Team to develop effective water treatment solutions for our customers. This entry-level role within the commercial sales function allows you to leverage your technical knowledge while exploring the sales processes organizations encounter daily. You will be assigned projects of moderate complexity, where you will follow a structured work plan to meet short-term objectives and address issues as they arise.
This position is part of our RISE early career program, a 12-month initiative designed to enhance participants' skills, knowledge, and confidence. Participants are full-time employees who will gain hands-on experience across various business areas, providing a robust foundation for career advancement within Veolia.
Key Responsibilities:
• Take charge of all aspects of account growth, including developing strategies, integrated planning, identifying opportunities, and conveying value.
• Collaborate with your team to drive effective and profitable sales in your assigned territory.
• Focus on expanding new accounts while maintaining and nurturing existing ones.
• Engage with current customers and prospects to fulfill their sales and service needs.
• Work closely with the marketing team to promote high-value solutions utilizing the company’s offerings.
• Act as a liaison to ensure a comprehensive understanding of customer business models, highlighting how our solutions provide added value.
• Build strong relationships with customers at all levels and communicate effectively.
• Collaborate with functional and P&L teams to achieve growth objectives.
• Participate actively in community events related to customer engagement.
• Drive enhancements in key customer processes.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or a closely related field (or a High School Diploma/GED with at least 4 years of related technical experience).
• Less than 1 year of experience in sales, marketing, or technical support within the water treatment industry.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Willingness to travel within your territory as required.
• Ability to reside within the assigned region or proximity to customers.
• Comfortable working in heavy industrial environments, using personal safety equipment, and being exposed to typical hazards such as noise, dust, and chemicals.
• Willingness to comply with drug testing and background checks as required by customer safety standards.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and other Windows-based applications.
• Must have a valid driving license and be willing to undergo a driving record check for roles requiring operation of a company vehicle.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. The offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a background check and drug screening.

Compensation: $75,000 - $79,000
