Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Account Executive with hands-on experience in Tally, GST filing, TDS compliance, and Income Tax procedures. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain daily accounting records in Tally ERP + / Tally Prime
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-+) and handle GST reconciliations
Calculate, deduct, and file TDS returns and issue TDS certificates (Form 16, 16A)
Assist in preparation and filing of Income Tax returns for the company and/or clients
Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants for audits and assessments
Generate MIS reports as required by management
Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and accounting standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (B.Com/M.Com preferred)
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
Proficiency in Tally ERP + / Tally Prime
Solid knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax rules and procedures
Good understanding of basic accounting principles
Working knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and handle confidential information
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a CA firm or accounts outsourcing company
Familiarity with accounting software like Busy, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks (optional)
Basic knowledge of ROC compliance (a plus, but not mandatory)
