Job Description
Will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our organization. And will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.
Bookkeeping: Record and classify financial transactions, ensuring all entries are accurate and in compliance with accounting standards.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, collections, and vendor payments.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, and monitor performance against budgeted figures.
Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accounted for and any discrepancies are resolved.
Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal tax regulations.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide financial insights to management for decision-making.
Month-end and Year-end Closing: Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Audit Support: Assist in financial audits by providing documentation and explanations as required.
Ad Hoc Reporting: Generate ad hoc financial reports and analysis as needed by management.
