Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Account Executive with a strong background in the Travel Domain to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing accounts, handling client relationships, and understanding travel industry operations. This role requires an individual with excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work collaboratively with teams to manage and grow client accounts effectively.
As an Account Executive in the Travel sector, you will be responsible for maintaining and nurturing relationships with our clients, providing excellent service, and ensuring smooth account management. You will also work closely with internal teams to ensure that client needs and expectations are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain client accounts within the travel domain, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster repeat business.
• Understand and manage client requirements in the travel sector, ensuring they receive timely and efficient services.
• Work with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations) to ensure seamless account management and client service delivery.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and contracts for clients in the travel industry.
• Track and analyze client data, ensuring accurate records are maintained for billing, payments, and project status.
• Address and resolve client issues or concerns promptly, ensuring that clients are satisfied with the service.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify new opportunities and potential clients in the travel domain.
• Prepare and deliver monthly/quarterly reports on account performance, sales growth, and other key metrics.
• Ensure timely payment collections and follow up on overdue invoices.
• Participate in client meetings, calls, and discussions to understand their needs and provide strategic advice.
• Stay updated with trends in the travel industry, competitor analysis, and new technologies in the market.
Key Requirements:
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in account management or client servicing within the travel industry.
• Strong understanding of travel industry operations, hotel bookings, flight reservations, and travel technologies.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) for client interaction.
• Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple accounts.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Graduates or Diploma holders with a background in travel and tourism preferred.
