Job Description
Accounting : Own the process to preparation of Balance sheet, Profit and Loss, Cash Flow Statement, Cash Budget
Financial : Spearhead Capital Budgeting, Cost Control, Working Capital Management, Monitoring of Key Financial Ratio etc.
Ensure availability of liquidity requirements. Yearly budget along with variance analysis
Liaison with Banks : Maintain a healthy relationship with existing banks on board and develop arrangements with new banks to increase credit limits / renewal of bank limits, Ensure sufficiency of Credit limits, Bank Guarantee limits, LC / SBLC limits etc.
for securing new orders and smooth order execution
Risk Management : Ensure compliance of the company and its factories to all legal requirements and initiate renewal and new registrations as may become applicable Effectively liaise with auditors Arrange to mitigate significant constituents of the Company s risk profile Monitor and escalate important issues to the Managing Director and CEO
Taxation : Has a sound knowledge and is able to guide Finance and Accounts team in all direct and indirect taxation matters such as for Customs, GST, VAT, Sales Tax etc.
Export / Import : Provide leadership and insights on financial matters pertaining to export / import to inter -departmental queries Decide on timing of transactions based on expected movement of currency prices
Logistics, Raw Materials, Inventories and Collection : Manage Account Receivables and Accounts Payable Track invoicing and ensure timely collection through regular follow up
Prices : Monitor prices of currencies and interest rates that affect prices of raw materials
Strategy : Strategize to achieve financial objectives of the company. Provide big picture of macro environment and company's financial status during Board Meetings and otherwise on request
Effective co -ordination with Head departments (Business Development, Procurement, Projects etc.) and periodically submit review and MIS to the CEO and Managing Director.
To monitor all day today transactions of all group companies including personal accounts
Funds Management
Verification of all Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Account
Preparation of CMA Data
Maintaining Books of Accounts as per Statutory Norms
Control on Masters of Ledger Accounts & Groups
Verifying Purchase Payments & Expenses Payments
Asset Register Maintenance
Maintaining details of Company Law
Implementation and maintenance of various software systems- contracts, payroll, asset system as and when required
Payroll generation and maintenance along with all statutory of payrolls
To reduce the queries of Auditors
