About the Role

The Account Manager is responsible for developing and growing new business as well as to strengthen existing client relationships. The purpose of this role is also to provide technical broking, and general administration duties in respect of assigned Corporate clients, through liaison with clients, underwriters and Aon Management. The portfolio will include a range of Corporate Clients including Local Government Clients

Some of your responsibilities will include:

Managing client servicing requirements

Identifying opportunities for growth both within your existing client base and new business

Providing professional, accurate and efficient responses to client needs through liaison with external stakeholders

Preparing proposals for new business opportunities

Coordinating client renewals and preparing premium calculations

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Proven experience in insurance broking

The ability to deliver high standards of quality client services

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Experience working in local government is advantageous.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities

Competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
