Description
Responsibilities:
General Accounting:
Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
Reconcile bank statements.
Prepare financial reports as needed.
GST Compliance:
Classify transactions for GST purposes.
Calculate GST liability.
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR filings) on a timely basis.
Maintain GST records and ensure proper documentation.
TDS Compliance:
Deduct TDS at source on payments made.
Deposit TDS with the government.
File TDS returns as required.
Maintain TDS records.
Other Duties:
Stay up-to-date on changes to GST and TDS regulations.
Assist with audits and tax assessments.
Perform other accounting tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting.
Working knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Strong understanding of GST and TDS regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Busy).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
