The Mid-Level Account Reconciliation Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data by performing detailed account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies. Positioned as an experienced professional within the reconciliation team, this role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, the ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will contribute to process improvements, assist in mentoring junior staff, and handle more complex reconciliations and reporting You'll Own- Perform detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of accounts, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.

- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between financial records and supporting documentation.

- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address outstanding reconciliation issues effectively.

- Prepare and present reconciliation reports to management, providing insights and recommendations.

- Support the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance reconciliation efficiency.

- Maintain compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory standards.

- Document reconciliation processes and maintain accurate records for audit purposes.

- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior analysts, sharing best practices and technical guidance.

- Monitor and escalate aged items, ensuring timely resolution to meet organizational you'll own it

Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in account reconciliation, financial analysis, or accounting.

- Advanced knowledge of Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables).

- Experience with accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

- Familiarity with reconciliation tools or automation platforms is an advantage.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

- Awareness of internal control standards and regulatory compliance requirements.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
