Responsibilities
As an Account Representative, your job will be to further develop business on the sales floor
You will focus on maintaining existing accounts while helping close new business alongside full truckload brokers in your aligned location for your specific mode of transportation
You will be your team’s subject matter expert on your mode of transportation, handling these shipments accordingly for the brokers and customers that you are working with
Communicate with the sales team and customers to build and maintain relationships
Manage daily shipment activities, resolving issues to ensure pickups and deliveries are on time
Work with the sales team to provide and negotiate competitive pricing and rates
Input, update, and manage shipment information in Load Manager
Collaborate with the support team to guarantee each shipment is serviced properly
Assist with billing and accounting responsibilities as needed
Become a subject matter expert for TQL’s OMASS department
