Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial transactions and ensure the accuracy of our financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with proficiency in GST compliance and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
• Financial Transactions: Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including managing transactions and bookkeeping.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain and update financial records such as ledgers, balance sheets, and income statements.
• GST Compliance: Prepare and file GST returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Expense Monitoring: Monitor company expenses and handle payroll processing.
• Bank Reconciliation: Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accounts payable and receivable.
• Audit Assistance: Assist with audits and implement audit recommendations when necessary.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and stakeholders through email for any financial-related queries.
• Taxation Support: Provide assistance with tax returns and other statutory financial reports.

Qualifications & Skills
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Arts (BA) or Commerce (B.Com).
• Experience: 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Software Proficiency: Solid knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of GST and other relevant financial regulations.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially for email correspondence.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Multitasking Ability: Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
