Job description The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions and record-keeping for the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and attention to detail. The Accountant will report to the Financial Manager and work closely with other finance team members. Responsibilities: • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. • Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. • Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports to provide insights into the organization's financial health. • Assist in budget planning and forecasting processes. • Coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements. • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and other financial transactions. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. • Participate in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures. • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings. • Perform other related duties as assigned
