The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing various accounting functions, including Tally, taxation, and GST compliance. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting and finance, with specific expertise in Indian tax laws and regulations.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
• Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Tally software and Ms Excel and its functionalities.
• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Tally software.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, including income tax, GST, TDS and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of tax accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
• Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure timely implementation.
