Role And Responsibilities
As an Accountant at Chapa Kazi Business Services, you will be responsible for recording all daily transactions in books and operation modules. It will be essential to coordinate and communicate with clients' accountants on a daily basis, responding to their queries and providing timely assistance. You will reconcile cash in hand and stock in hand with manual datasheets and address any discrepancies that arise during the reconciliation process. Regular reconciliation of bank and key accounts is also a crucial part of this role. Additionally, you will prepare schedules related to monthly, quarterly, and annual closing, reporting all on-going tasks, queries, and discrepancies to your immediate manager. Maintaining error-free books of accounts and operation modules is of utmost importance. You will be expected to provide information related to accounts to stakeholders as and when needed, and may be assigned ad-hoc tasks as required.
Candidate Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and database management
• Good English communication skills
