The Opportunity
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 p.a + Superannuation
We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic and proactive Accountant to become a vital part of our team.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of our accounting/ bookkeeping team, handling a variety of tasks including:
End-to-end accounts receivables
Weekly settlement processes
Accounts payables
Bank reconciliations
Balance sheet reconciliations
Payroll processing
Payroll Tax calculations and reporting
Client liaison
Team management
BAS & IAS preparation
Management reporting
Assisting with other client compliance requirements
Qualifications
About You
A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
Demonstrated experience as a team leader minimum 3yrs
Strong understanding of accounting and taxation principles including GST and WHT compliance according to ATO guidelines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with detail-oriented mindset on maintaining accuracy and integrity of accounts and complete the tasks independently
Well-developed knowledge and understanding of computerised accounting systems (Xero and MYOB) as well as Microsoft Office/Windows environment
Well-developed payroll processing and related reporting requirements for Super & STP
Experience on setup & conversion of prior accounting systems to Xero
Experience with connected apps within the Xero platform
Certified Xero Advisor and Xero Payroll Advisor

· This is a full time and 40hrs per week role
· This position is office based and not WFH or Hybrid.
