Qualifications
Educated to “A” level standard or above
No tax experience is required as full training will be given
Good numeracy and computer skills,
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A positive ‘can do’ attitude
Good team player
Ability to work to deadlines
Responsibilities
Working within the tax team to provide tax compliance services for Trust clients, on the job training will be supported by external courses, and studying towards a relevant professional qualification will be strongly encouraged
Assist with the preparation of UK and Guernsey tax reporting requirements for trusts and companies,
The review of trust and company accounts for tax reporting requirements
Drafting Guernsey economic substance reviews of companies
Liaison with other departments within the group, and draft responses to tax queries from trust administrators
Drafting communications with tax authorities regarding tax payments and returns
Updating and maintaining tasks and compliance spreadsheets
