About The Role

As a finance team member, Candidate will be responsible for end to end Accounting, Reconciliation, Reporting/ Systems enabling the execution of quality services for the Airbnb.Org. Candidates will act as a key member of the team and work towards identifying, documenting and delivering process improvements, Enhance Process Effectiveness, work towards enhancing the control environment, support projects related to the Airbnb.org

What You’ll Do
• As an integral member of a team, prepare & process month-end journals, perform month end closing and reporting activities; manage stakeholders communications for any exceptions, deviations issue resolutions
• Supports transitions and knowledge transfer, monitoring critical deliverables.
• Support processes are migrated to the blueprint as per agreed timelines.
• Perform variance/ flux commentary on P/L and BS accounts.
• Responsible for reconciliation preparation in accordance with internal/external accounting guidelines & SOX requirement from Group level.
• Collaborates with business partners, including accounting authorities/auditors. Supports in managing relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders with the objective of meeting delivery as per the agreed parameters.
• Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for related policies and processes.
• Actively initiate and participate in improvements to sustain a highly effective and efficient process, and work on areas to standardize processes to optimize investments made in global ERP systems and financial services.
• Support the measurement and delivery of service levels and SLA/KPI targets.
• Ensure adherence to SOX controls and compliance policies and procedures.
• Support in building backup and cross training plans and ensure they are implemented and revisited regularly.
• Managing operational delivery of all the internal and external audit requests within the timelines, managing the clear expectations of stakeholder. Raising any blockers

• Accounting Graduate / MBA Finance / Semi-qualified CA with relevant prior financial experience of 7+ years
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-national, matrix organization
• Strong interpersonal and team building skills - ability to work with a diverse team and drive change across functional and business boundaries.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills that can be applied and used to communicate effectively and confidently, with a wide range of stakeholders including: clients, financial institutions, vendors, team members, and management.
• Ability to analyze root cause of issues and guide teams to full issue resolution, as well as collaborate in development of initiatives for systematic solutions.
• Ability to identify and design operational process improvements, and ensure accurate/thorough application and integration into applicable workflows.
• Superior facilitation and collaboration skills to gather, document, and understand requirements obtained from various personalities across organizational boundaries.
• Must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks with tight deadlines.
• Strong Self-motivation and drive to monitor multiple client deliverables, without sacrificing excellence or quality.
• Exceptional quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills, with specific experience in managing financial information and data. Knowledge of performance calculations and investment reporting is preferred.
• Systems experience: Workday, Blackline, Oracle or Other large ERP system preferred
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Presentation and ability to learn SQL & tableau is required
• Having an innovative thought process and highly focused to drive automation with Alteryx, Six Sigma or any other effective means
